When it comes to tournament season, not training is not an option for me. Working on conditioning, strength, speed and power is a must. When I have an intense workout and I feel extremely sore the following day and knowing skipping a day is out of the question, I tape up with my KT tape on those overused/fired up muscles and I keep going.
What I like most about the KT Tape is that I'm able to spray adhesive, which helps to keep the tape on for a few extra days, and apply the tape on effected area. KT Tape is an elastic strip you place on the body to reduce pain/discomfort. KT Tape helps minimize soreness, offers support, relaxes the overused muscle and gets me through my next workout session and the day. I typically place it on my hip, forearms and calves but can be applied all over the body along muscles, ligaments and tendons.
