You hear this saying all the time, but really trying to live it is a challenge! I, for one, am a planner. I want to know where I'll be in a year and where my kids will go to college even now at their young ages of 2.5 and 4! I am learning slowly to take life day to day and appreciate every little moment or you miss the ride. The journey is the destination, so they say. I have a new appreciation for this saying. For example if you had told me a year and half ago that I would be living in North Carolina and owning and operating Pure Barre studios, I would have told you that you were nuts! Well here I am in North Carolina and doing what I love. Although there are several times I miss the sweet Colorado mountains, I try daily to breathe and take in all that I am blessed with in my life today in the present. I have a business I love, in a state I grew up in, and the support of my family and friends; that is unbelievable. Topped by the simple fact that I am healthy enough to pursue my fitness goals, well life in this moment today is very sweet indeed!! Love the life you live, or live the life you love there is so much value in both, a lesson I am slowly learning.
