Are you getting tired of your same old breakfast routine? It happens to the best of us, but I've got a recipe that will kickstart your day and get you up and out of the house in no time. This energizing Power Bowl is easy to make and packed with nutrients. You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so you want to be sure to nourish your body from the inside out. Incorporating quinoa into your breakfast provides a lot of bang for your nutritional buck. It's a complete protein that is rich in fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and low in calories and fat. Plus, it's gluten-free. You can't go wrong!

1/2 cup Quinoa

1 cup Almond Milk

1 Banana

1 tbsp. Almond Butter Pinch of Cinnamon

1. Bring the almond milk to a boil. Add the quinoa, cover, and let simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and cook for an extra 5-10 minutes, keeping the cover on.

2. Remove from heat and mix in sliced banana, almond butter, and cinnamon toppings. Add any other toppings you'd like. Some ideas include dates, cacao powder, and walnuts.

3. Pour into a bowl and enjoy!
