BUSY?? Who isn’t?? AND when things get busy it’s easy to let the workout slide. Plus the idea of going to a gym may not be the most appealing when it’s a schlep over there or when time is limited, or when you're traveling and gym-facilities are a debacle to track down. I designed this as the perfect ‘bang-for-your-buck’ in 15minutes! So even if you your time is a premium, you can still blast some calories, rev up your metabolism, and reap the endorphins that come with this high-energy workout.
Perform the 5 exercises below consecutively (no rest from exercise to exercise), once you make it through, that’s one set. Try to perform as many sets as you can in 15 minutes. Record your number and try to beat it next time. The goal is to do each exercise to it’s fullest extent, it’s better to perform it fully with intensity than rushing through the exercises just to get as many sets in as possible (I know it’s tempting, but trust me, you will get more out of it by using intensity rather than speed)
Basketball drill – 20 on each side One-leg
Downward dog drill – 5 each side
Handstand kicks – 8 reps 1-hop forward 2 hops back – 6 reps
Belly role to bicycle crunches -10 each leg
*Repeat this series as many times as you can in 15 minutes.
