Paleo Milkshake Quick on-the-go meals are tough when you are eating Paleo. Not being a morning person, I am frequently looking for easy, minimal-prep breakfast ideas. I decided to elevate my protein shake and make it a more substantial breakfast. I included cacao, which is a great source of antioxidants, magnesium, and iron. This may sound crazy but I tried adding avocado. Adding the avocado is not only one to get a serving of healthy fats, but it also thickens it up making it the consistency of a milkshake (I promise you don't taste it!) Ingredients:
- Organic Cacao Powder (Navitas Naturals )
- Grass-Fed Whey Protein Chocolate Flavor (Reserveage Organics)
- 1/3 Avocado
- 1/3 Glass Coconut Milk
- 1 Cup of Water and Ice *
Can add ½ frozen Banana if you need more carbs or like it to be sweeter.
Mix in your blender and enjoy. This shake is beyond delicious. No joke, you have got to try!
