Your Guide To Balanced Fitness

Want to get more from your workouts than just burning off a few calories? Here are two simple rules for adding balance to your workouts.

Exercise with your wisdom, not your ego Most people, especially men, like to do movements, exercises, stretches etc. that they look good doing. These are not necessarily the movements that they need to do to improve their fitness level. As the saying goes, "a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link", so working on those areas that need attention requires a certain amount of humility.

Exercise with patience and consistency. Most things that we want in life we can double click on an icon, punch in our credit card number and have overnighted to your mailbox. Not true with fitness. Patience and Consistency are key and we must realize that progress is made in small but significant steps. Don't give up or let yourself get frustrated especially when you're starting something new. Just stay on course and enjoy the journey.
