Workout Wednesday // Spiderman Pushup
Countdown: 2 days til the 4th! Your bikini is in sight and so is your strong bod to show off! Spiderman Pushups are that step above a traditional pushup that you can do literally anytime, anywhere. They're simple yet just enough of a challenge.
1. Start in a standard pushup position.
2. As you lower your body into your pushup, simultaneously swing your right leg out and try to touch your right knee to your right elbow. Then, push your body back to starting position.
Alternate sides and go for 45 seconds!
I love this variation of the pushup because it ads an oblique crunch and hip flexion all at the same time. It also provides a stability challenge because you only have 3 points of contact to the ground. I know my core and arms are getting stronger every time I do this move.
