INTERVIEW: BETH NICELY

DO YOU HAVE A MORNING ROUTINE? WHAT ARE THE STEPS?

I do!  I’m pretty consistent with my morning routine.  I wake up somewhere between 5-6am.  I need an hour before I start training for the day because once I start, I don’t stop!  I have a cup of coffee and 2 Rx Bars every morning on the couch.  Then I get my workout wear on and start my warm up of foam rolling and hypervolting my legs.  I make sure everything is ready for my first client in my studio and then I’m good to go!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FORM OF MOVEMENT?

Oh gosh, that is really hard.  I’m a professional dancer and have been dancing since I was 3 years old so that is in my body and soul.  I do love to tap dance.  I also love dance cardio and HIIT/Plyometrics at The Limit!  I’m a marathoner as well so running is another favorite.  I stretch for 20 minutes every night so that would be my low key favorite form of movement.

TOP FIVE THINGS YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT?

1.  My husband, Adam and our pups Allie and Poca

2. Coffee, ha!

3.  Pizza and Dark Chocolate

4.  Comfy sweats and slippers

5.  My family and friends:-)

WHAT BRINGS YOU ULTIMATE JOY?

So many things, but definitely helping people get stronger.  Seeing that change in people and how that positively affects them is everything.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SPLITS59 STYLES?

I love all of them but all of the Airweight line is amazing!  So comfy!

FAVORITES

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?

RED.  Love red!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NAME?

I love Ella, Jane, and Elizabeth.  These are all names of women that have been essential in my life and have shaped to who I am.

WHAT’S YOUR CURRENT STATE OF MIND?

Oh wow, it’s actually many things.  I’m a business owner so my brain is constantly thinking and I’m also an optimist.  I’m currently very happy with a side of healthy stress ha.

WHAT’S YOUR MOTTO?

You are capable of more than you think.  Forge ahead and be stronger than your show.  That’s when I’m in a show on Broadway or somewhere else.  You have to be stringer than anything you’re doing.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG?

That’s so hard!  When I’m training and doing something physically and mentally challenging, I play Eminem’s “Till I Collapse.”  My current fav song to dance to at The Limit is “Till Your Legs Hurt” by 99 percent.  So good.  “Your Song” by Rita Ora is a feel good vibe too.
