Account Executive

Splits59 is a dynamically growing company looking for an experienced Account Executive. This role is responsible for all Sales-related functions.  This includes managing accounts through a combination driving sales, identifying opportunities, financial analysis, product knowledge and communication.  In this role, you will utilize your sharp sales acumen and excellent interpersonal skills to seek out new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. This is an outstanding opportunity for a personable, performance-driven individual to take charge of rewarding responsibilities in a fast-paced, analytical work environment. This position involves a lot of travel so you must be a road warrior.


Key Responsibilities
:

Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential, customer needs and pricing profiles.

Ensure that the brand is maintaining a high level of service in all functional areas.

Extensive travel to stores & attend seasonal tradeshows to strengthen retailer relationships and generate new business.

Meet or exceed all sales goals and provide weekly updates to the VP of Sales on retailer challenges/opportunities.

Handle all inquires (credit memos, RA’S and reorders).

Properly communicate and manage all business changes with customer account and/or team – This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating special customer requests with design and production, promotional commitments, conflict resolution and additional service needs to meet deadlines.

Open new accounts by identifying, prospecting and cold calling in-line with company strategy.

Work with accounts in the showroom and help build assortments that best represent the brand and the customer.

Communicate our goals, core values and initiatives effectively both internally and externally.


      Qualifications:

      4+ years of proven success and experience in wholesale sales as an Account Executive, from the active wear, premium denim or contemporary space.

      Road Warrior who is comfortable with more than 50% travel

      Bachelors Degree.

      Current relationships with A+ specialty stores, gyms, and studios. Major department stores and International retailers are a plus.

      Ability to analyze selling, data and translate into immediate results.

      Knowledge and passion of the active, athletic lifestyle community is a plus.

      Self-motivated with high-energy, dynamic personality and excellent verbal and communication skills.

      Solid understanding of retail math including mark-up, sell-through, OTB and gross margin.
