      SPLITS FOR KICKIN' CANCER

      SPLITS FOR KICKIN' CANCER

      ABOUT KICKIN' CANCER

Established in 1998 by Lynne Cohen’s three daughters, the Lynne Cohen Foundation’s mission is to combat ovarian and breast cancer through preventive care, education, and community.

With a network of comprehensive, multi-disciplinary preventive care clinics, a focus on individual and community education, and a consortium of experts from leading cancer centers around the country all dedicated to early detection and prevention, we seek to increase survival rates and improve the lives of women and families affected by cancer.

Sunday, November 13th marks the 20th anniversary of LCF's grassroots fundraising event, the KICKIN’ CANCER! 5K, a timed Run, Walk, Stroll and Women's Health Expo that takes place on San Vicente Blvd in Brentwood, LA every year. Every step helps fund innovative preventive care programs for women and families at increased risk. Visit kickincancer.com to learn more and join.

"During the course of the pandemic, many at-risk women put off their regular screenings out of fear or financial hardship. Expanding access to preventive care services has been a part of the Lynne Cohen Foundation’s mission since day ONE, and we are thankful to count Splits59 among our key supporters in this work. We have made extraordinary strides in the fight against women’s cancers and are proud of every dollar raised (over $25 million to date). We are honored to be able to say we have provided more than 15,000 women at increased risk for ovarian and breast cancer with the tools to prevent disease, catch their cancers early and fight them hard. As our community well knows, cancer does not care what your insurance status is. It does not care what color you are. It does not care how much money you have in your checking account. Cancer affects everybody. Know your donations make a real-world impact in expanding the availability of clinical prevention to all who need it. $5000 is the equivalent of 13+ uninsured women receiving potentially life-saving single-site genetic testing for the BRCA mutation." — Amy Cohen Epstein

Splits59 will be donating 15% of the Billie Set and Kiki Crop sales to the Kickin’ Cancer Lynne Cohen Foundation.
