Airweight High Waist Legging

Without a doubt these are the softest, most buttery, and smoothest leggings I own (out of lulu align & wunder train, athleta salutation/elation/interval). Definitely on the thin side with a slightly brushed feel, and on a scale of 1-10 of compression it’s about a 1.5.

I’m 5’2” 155lbs and the 23” is full length on me without significant bunching around the knee or ankle which is my issue with many of my favorite leggings that don’t offer shorter or petite inseams.

The only issue I keep finding with these is that if I’m in any position that’s not standing upright, the waistband rolls down immediately, likely because it’s so thin. Unlike my favorite athleta elation leggings that seem to be double lined at the waistband to prohibit this, the Splits59 Airweights keep their thin structure throughout their entire design. From a combo of my body comp and their material it doesn’t just fold over, it truly rolls into a thick, uncomfortable tube until I either stand up or fiddle with it to be slightly less uncomfy.

Don’t get me wrong. Still going to wear them, but I try to wear them in situations I know I won’t be sitting down or bending for very long. They’re a much better fit for treadmill workouts and boxing, and not for Pilates or yoga from my experience.
